Downloading wallpaper for your PC & Mac
Read moreThis tutorial will help you understand how to adjust the size of a background image, which you will have downloaded from explora image bank, and how to adjust the dimensions of this image in relation to those of your screen. First of all, make sure that the image you have downloaded to your computer is of sufficient definition to be able to put it in the background. Ideally, you should use an image that is not too small compared to the resolution of your screen (for example 1366×768 pixels on a laptop screen, or 1920×1080 pixels on a 1080p desktop monitor). If you use an image that is too small, your background image, once enlarged to the size of your screen, will be pixelated, and therefore unsightly. On the other hand, according to the adage "who can do more, can do less", it is not at all inconvenient to use a "bigger" image: by using the following tips, the image will be automatically adjusted/reduced to the size of your screen. For example, if you want to use one of the many images available on explora.mu as a background, click on the link below the photo entitled "[Download]". You will then save on your computer a high definition image (between 1200 and 1920 pixels wide), much better suited to enjoy a beautiful landscape photo on your background. Conversely, avoid saving thumbnails (which are only 400 pixels wide), or slides (which are only 600 pixels wide), if your goal is to put them in the background on a computer.
