Explora was created to showcase Mauritius through the eyes of local photographers and contributors who capture the island’s beaches, mountains, villages, wildlife, waterfalls, forests, sunsets and everyday island life.

The project helps tourists, locals, travellers, photographers and nature lovers discover Mauritius in a more visual and meaningful way. It is not a stock photo platform or a large commercial website. It is a non-commercial discovery project built with time, care and passion.

Support helps cover the technical costs behind the platform, including hosting, image storage, website maintenance, development, security updates, backups and future improvements.

Sponsors do not control Explora’s editorial direction, photo selection, photographer profiles or discovery content.
