How It Works

Our photo contests are open to everyone, from beginners to experienced photographers. Each contest is based on a specific theme, and only photos related to Mauritius are accepted.

• Who can participate? Anyone with an interest in photography.
• How many photos can I submit? You can upload multiple photos, as long as they match the contest theme.
• Deadlines: Each contest includes a submission deadline. In some cases, Explora may extend it if participation is low.
• Voting period: An additional 7 days may be allowed for ratings after the submission deadline.

Photo Guidelines

Before submitting your photos, please read the full Photo Guidelines. They explain image quality, editing, titles, descriptions, tags, copyright, similar photos and approval rules.

• Editing: Minor adjustments are allowed, but heavily edited or unrealistic images may be rejected.
• Relevance: Photos must match the contest theme to be included.
• Approval: Photos are reviewed before publication. This may take a few hours up to one working day.
• Compliance: Photos that do not follow the guidelines will not be published.
