A spider with red and black stripes on its legs weaving a web in nature in Mauritius. The spider is also known as Trichonephila inaurata or red-legged nephila. You usually find them in Africa and other Indian ocean islands such as Rodrigues, Reunion and Seychelles. Their webs rather asymmetric can be as large as 1.5 meters.
