Bottom view of Village Weaver aka Serin du Cap

The Village Weaver also known as the Serin du Cap (not to be mistaken with Cape Canary) is very famous in Mauritius. Its a small yellow bird who spent almost of its time elaborating nests for the female. They mostly feed on insects, nectar and seeds. The male are also responsible in feeding the chicks.
