Bulbul bird posing on dry branch in nature. The Orpheus Bulbul (Pycnonotus jocosus, above) is a typical Bulbul, with its whistling and busy, very confident look. It has a grayish-brown body, a black head and bright red circles around its eyes. Like most Bulbuls, it nests in low trees and bushes. 
Both parents will usually feed the babies.
