Sunset Silhouettes Through the Trees at Mont Choisy Beach

I left Mauritius when I was 14-15 and ever since then I had felt a piece of my heart missing. My family and I have since done a trip every 3-4 years and this had been our 4th trip since we left about 18 years ago. I was sitting down enjoying a barbecue with my family when I happened to turn around to look at the sunset and I was struck by the beauty of this single moment in time. In that moment, I felt complete. The people, the palm trees, the ocean and the colours of Mauritius will forever have a special place in my heart.
