Cavendish Bridge Over Rivière La Chaux in Mahébourg

The Cavendish Bridge, also known as Pont de Ville Noire, is one of Mauritius' most historic bridges. It is located at the entrance to Mahébourg, in the Grand Port district, where it crosses the Rivière La Chaux and connects Mahébourg with the village of Ville Noire. The bridge was completed and officially inaugurated in 1911.
