Kishan Narraidoo
My name is Kishan and I was initiated to photography back in the late 1970s when I was gifted my very first 35mm camera, a Zenit from the USSR! I am naturally curious and since I was still at college at that time and there existed a photographic society as an extra-curricular activity, I learned the basics as well as using the darkroom for processing B&W 35mm silver films followed by enlarging and making prints of those negatives!
Since that time, I have always been interested in this whole exciting world of storytelling through the lens.

Things have evolved since then, I gradually moved on to a Pentax P30 SLR and I have now evolved to a DSLR. I have always kept my shooting on an amateur level, grabbing any opportunity I can get to do some shooting. I love landscapes, astro and close-ups. I also have a soft spot for candid portraits, especially of kids whom I believe are so full of expressions.
