Details for Photo Contest
explora invites you to it's sixth photography contest about the hidden & wild beaches of Mauritius. This contest excludes public or usually visited beaches. Beaches without location specified will not be considered. Unlike the typical postal card beaches, in this contest we want to reveal hidden beaches or sometimes hardly accessible but which are worth to visit.
How to participate ?
Read our welcome to challenges section. Please include the location of your photo.
May include
Man-made objects like cars, roads etc...
May not include
People, animals, vehicles, houses or any man-made objects if they are the main subject of the photo.
Eligibility for participation
Free & open to everyone. Participant should have at least 10 photos published on explora and should submit at least 3 entries about this theme.
Deadline
The challenge is open until the 25th October 2022 at midnight. 3 extra days will be allocated for visitors to view & rate the photos.
Designation of the Winner
The photos with the highest ratings, views and comments will be shortlisted. Note that views are generated each time a visitor loads the photo's page. The winner will be announced on Explora's Facebook Group by the 28th October 2022. The decision will be final. The winner will need to contact explora within 1 week to collect his prizes. The winner also agrees that explora will publish the photo of the prize giving on Explora's Facebook page and on this website.
Prize for the winner
2 Tickets for the Sunburn Event worth Rs. 2,000 - offered by Mataora. The sunburn event will be held on the 05th November 2022 at the Ruins of Balaclava in Maritim Resort & Spa.
