Abstract Light Trails from Caudan City Lights

An abstract interpretation of the colourful city lights at Caudan in Port Louis, created using a slow shutter speed and intentional camera movement. While zooming out with a mobile phone, the photographer moved the camera to transform distant urban lights into flowing streaks of yellow, blue and soft pastel tones. The result turns a familiar night scene in Mauritius into an almost painterly composition of light, colour and movement.
