Milky Way and Shooting Stars Above La Prairie Beach

The Milky Way stretches across the star-filled night sky above La Prairie beach on the southwest coast of Mauritius. Several faint shooting star trails appear beneath the galaxy, adding to the beauty of this peaceful coastal nightscape. Framed by tropical vegetation on both sides, the photograph captures the calm waters of the Indian Ocean under a vast celestial sky. Away from the brighter lights of towns and resorts, La Prairie offers beautiful opportunities for astrophotography and stargazing, revealing a completely different side of Mauritius after dark.
