Aerial view of PV plant near Tamarin falls reservoir in Henrietta

The photovoltaic center of Henrietta created by Corexsolar international for CEB Green energy. This plant which includes 6,000 solar panels, is in operation since April 2019 and extends on 4 hectares. The Henrietta power plant has a total installed power 2Mw which was installed over 3 months. As such 3GWh of electricity per year will be produced which can supply approximately 2,000 Mauritian households yearly. This will avoid the release of 3,000 tons of CO2 yearly. The Tamarind Reservoir is a spectacular, albeit difficult-to-reach place known for its lovely surroundings and unspoiled environment.
