The yellow wasp is also know as "mouche jaune" in french and "mousse zone" in Créole in Mauritius. Those insects play an important role in the eco-system. However it usually bites people when they feel in danger though in winter they are harmless. Yellow wasps built their nest is various places such as trees but sometimes inside houses.
