Situated next to “La Maison d’Eureka” (Eureka house in English), Eureka waterfalls is found in Moka. La Maison Eureka is a well-preserved colonial house. Quite famous for its architecture and garden, a visit of the place can be a memorable experience, from antiques to old colonial furniture, the place hides a lot of treasures. The Eureka Waterfalls are just nearby, and a small trip, although a bit tricky, can be worth the effort for those who are adventurous. At the end of the path, you will actually find four waterfalls, set amongst mango trees and palms and an array of other sublime tropical flora'. The river is the natural habitat for aquatic plants such as 'bredes songes' and water lilies. Under the water surface an intense marine life goes on for the 'scampi’, tilapias, carp and eels which can be found in large quantities.
