Le Morne View from Case Noyale Beach
This photo shows Le Morne Brabant seen from the beach at Case Noyale, on the west coast of Mauritius. Case Noyale is a coastal village situated between the Black River / La Gaulette area and the road toward Le Morne, and its shoreline offers open views across the bay toward the Le Morne peninsula. Unlike Le Morne public beach, Flic en Flac, or Belle Mare, Case Noyale beach is not a major tourist beach with many facilities or resort-style beach activity. It is a quieter, more local stretch of coast, better known for its village atmosphere, fishing boats, rocky shoreline, calm water views, and scenic outlook toward Le Morne.
The beach is also less suited to the classic "swimming beach" image of Mauritius, as parts of the shoreline are rocky and more natural. Its value is more visual and local: it offers a different perspective on Le Morne, with the mountain seen across the water rather than from the famous beaches at its base. Official public beach listings also include several proclaimed beach areas at Petit Case Noyale, confirming that this coastline is part of Mauritius' public coastal network, even if it remains far less promoted than the island's best-known beaches. For photography, the quiet curve of the shore, the calm bay, and the distant shape of Le Morne make this a distinctive west coast viewpoint.
