The Tamarin river flows from Mare aux Vacoas, the country's largest lake and which is in the center of Mauritius to the bay of Tamarin in the west. As such, the lagoon of Tamarin is not as clear as the other beaches because of all particles carried by the river in the sea. With its’ 12km, it passes via the Tamarind Falls to create spectacular waterfalls. The hiking of Tamarind Falls starts from Henrietta.
